Lecture - Exploration of Genealogy

In this Lecture, we had to work in groups and come up with an idea that would effect our everyday life. We did this so that we would understand how Genealogy works and how it effects us in our everyday lives. Whilst in this Lecture we also learnt about Genealogy, which is tracing back the history of a place or a person. We were given the question of how future Genealogy would effect us and what solutions that we could up with to resolve these problems.

I thought that this Lecture did help me, as I was able to work on my teamwork and confidence skills within this task because it got me to think about new and creative ideas, that would help me with other project work. I think that my teamwork skills went well because it allowed me to connect with the people in the group that I was working with. I think that the mind map could have been better because we as a group could have expanded on our ideas a lot more, which would allows us to create more creative ideas based around genealogy. I have learnt a lot from this task because I feel that this task has allowed me to broaden my ideas about Genealogy, as I didn't understand what Genealogy meant at first.
